Welcome to another week...

Well, its Monday, I have been up since 06:30... I feel good... I think I might have some normal sleeping patterns again! This week, I plan do get some mapping done for my mod. Also I'll hope to keep you guys up-to-date on Half-Life.

Blood Problems?

A chap called "Slo" e-mailed me a problem with Half-Life, here is what he had to say...

"Got big prob with HL,
in every MOD or normal HL, single or multi, I got blood drops (hit ones) too
big, i.e. w
hen you hit someone close-infrontofya I get such lag (because of
dayum big blood drops!).
any ides on how to get rid of big blood (get it to normal size)?"

I have never encountered this and don't know any console cvars that can fix this problem, anyone got any ideas because its stumped me! If you have some input contact me. Ta! I'm off to do some research!

Picture of the week!

Check out the new picture of the week!

Firearms 1.2 Released

People over at the Firearms mod have released the next version of their mod. Go and get it here. Note, that this is a 'Full Install' and not a patch. So you will have to delete your current 'Firearms' mod directory First. Go get it here.

Wasteland

I have just been over to Wasteland and seen that the Beta 2 is at 89%. Great news because this mod is great! Go and get it here if you don't have it already!

Note, Read the ReadMe or you might run into problems! You should also note, Beta 2 will be for Half-Life 1.1.0.0. The patch isn't out yet but its coming! Thus Wasteland Beta 2 will probably be out just after the release of 1.1.0.0.

MatrixHL

Tim Boff over at MatrixHL has updated... So good news if it comes to light! Maybe we can look forward to seeing what MatrixHL has to offer soon!

New FGD

I have updated the "FGD Zip" in the files section of HLCU. Desert Crisis has been added to the zip. Visit the files section to get it.

Files Section Rework

The files section of the site is growing and needs to be organised. I will be implementing a new structure... I'll let you know when its done.

  Monday, May 22, 2000 6:04 PM GMT Killa-Kyle

Files Section

I haven't changed the files section yet but I have added a couple of links. Check 'em

Radium

For those people who know what radium was all about, I'm sure you loved it! Its sad to see that Radium is shutting up shop. Take a trip over to radium as I did and be influenced by what radium has to say! What a guy. Respec to Radium!

The Valve Sector have an exclusive screenshot of Gearboxes [people behind Opposing Force] TFC. Check it out here.

Jumbot and Half-Life 1.1.0.0

I have been talking to Richard Whitehouse, he has informed me that unless 1.1.0.0 has something 'phenomenal' in it he will 'NOT' be updating Jumbot 1.8.

This means that for all you Jumbot lovers, If you install 1.1.0.0 when it is released... you will not be able to use it. Unless you have a second install of Half-Life somewhere else on your computer at 1.0.1.6.

I'll keep you updated on events!
